A rare super quality good sized German Hanau solid silver shoe. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks and tests as high grade silver, I would date it to c1890. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shoe decorated with scrolls and flowers, possibly once a pin cushion. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12.2cm) long by 1.5 inches (4cm) wide by 2 inches (5.6cm) tall and weighs 60 grams. A high quality rare and unusual example.
