A very interesting antique solid sterling silver napkin ring. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1931 with the maker being Carrington & Co. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with various British Army campaigns and stations for D.A. Simmons of The Dorsetshire Regiment from World War One through to World War Two, it is also engraved on the inside of the ring 'Presented by Lt. Col. W. Clemson 1931'. It is in super condition being free from dings and repairs. It measures over 1.75 inches (4.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A very well made fascinating piece.
