A beautifully heavy top quality Irish solid sterling silver strawberry dish. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1951 with the maker being William Egan & Sons. It has superbly designed being hand planished. It is in superb condition being free from splits, engravings, and repairs. It measures approx. 7 inches (18cm) across by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) tall and weighs 264 grams. A very good quality well made piece.
