A very interesting novelty sterling silver butter spade. It is hallmarked SILVER and tests as sterling silver with the maker being R&D. It dates to 1938. It has been superbly made being in the form of a spade commemorating Port Sunlight. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs . It measures 4.25 inches (10.7cm) long by over 1 inch (2.8cm) wide and weighs 18 grams. A very nice piece.
