A rare English solid sterling silver mini replica measure. It is hallmarked for London 1906 with the maker being Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. It has been made as a replica Romsey Bushel Measure and has been engraved ' WINCHESTER- BUSHEL-ROMSEY-JOSEPH-MORTIMER-MAYOR=1792 CORCORAN-FECIT-LONDON'. It is in good condition being free from splits holes and repairs. It measures over 3 inches (8.2cm) across including the handles and almost 2.5 inches (6.1cm) excluding them by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) tall and weighs 42 grams. A very unusual piece.
