A superb rare English antique solid sterling silver wax seal. It is hallmarked with the Lion Passant mark and a date letter for Birmingham 1910, no makers marks. It has been superbly designed with the end being engraved with a crest and motto possibly associated with the Wilson family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 2.5 inches (6.5cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) square and weighs 16 grams. A very interesting example.
