A rare and beautiful German Hanau solid silver travelling triptych. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1890. It is has been superbly designed depicting Christ's Crucifixion. It is in super condition being free from dings holes and repairs, just a tiny edge split see final photo. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.5cm) across by 4 inches (10.2cm) tall excluding the loop and weighs and impressive 194 grams. A very nice quality piece.
