A rare Irish Georgian antique solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1814 with the maker being Richard Sawyer. It has been superbly designed being engraved with a baron's crest and the initials PH - the crest is similar to that used by the Hamilton Family. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures over 9.5 inches (25cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide and weighs 66 grams. A very high quality interesting early piece.
