A super quality English solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1976 with the maker being J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. It has been superbly designed having a cast tiger to its handle. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 6.75 inches (17.5cm) long by over 0.5 inch 1.4cm) wide and weighs 38 grams. A very nicely designed example.
