A stunning pair of English Georgian antique solid sterling silver berry serving spoons. Their hallmarks are rubbed with the makers mark of John Lampfert they date to c1770. They have been superbly made being embossed with berries and engraved with the family crest of a heron or pelican holding a horse shoe in its beak. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 8.75 inches (22.1cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide and they have a combined weight of 130 grams. A super quality pair.
