A more unusual antique solid silver gilt souvenir spoon. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark along with the 800 standard mark. I would date it to c1920s. It has been nicely designed having its terminal enamelled in the form of the Coat of Arms of Hamburg and the bowl depicting RATHAUS (City Hall) of HAMBURG. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measures over 4.25 inches (11cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide and weighs 10 grams. A very interesting example.
