A beautiful German Hanau solid silver table box. It is hallmarked with the German 800 standard mark along with a Hanau makers mark - I would date it to c1900-1920s. It has been superbly made being cast with the lid depicting cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures over 3.25 inches (8.4cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.5cm) wide by 0.5 inches (1.4cm) tall and weighs 92 grams. A very pretty piece.
