 A super quality English solid sterling silver screw top box. It is hallmarked for London 1988 with the maker being HDMS. It was designed to hold oil or ointment but are sometimes wrongly referred to as wafer boxes. It is in good condition being free from dings, splits, and repairs, light surface marks from  use. It measures over 1 inch (2.7cm) tall by the same wide and weighs 30 grams. A nice quality more unusual piece.
