A high quality English Victorian antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the maker being Henry Matthews. It has been superbly made having a ornate design and the cartouches are free from any engravings. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.6cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide and weighs 20 grams. A beautifully piece.
