A boxed solid cast English solid sterling silver place card or menu holder. It is hallmarked for London 1973 with the maker being that of Thomas Charles Jarvis. It has been superbly designed being cast in the form of a Victorian Lavender girl, (a street flower seller) with the milestone numbered 9, this holds the place card. There was a set produced by TC Jarvis - all Victorian street characters. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across the base and weighs 32 grams excluding the box. An interesting well made piece.
