A superb rare huge English Georgian solid sterling silver serving fork. It is hallmarked for London 1776 with the maker being William Sumner & Richard Crossley. It has been superbly designed made to the Old English Pattern and the terminal engraved with the initials JEL. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 11.5 inches (29.2cm) long by almost 2 inches (4.8cm) wide and weighs 82 grams. A very high quality rare early piece.
