A rare well modelled solid sterling silver miniature animal figure. It is hallmarked for Chester 1903 with the maker being Nathan & Hayes (George Nathan & Ridley Hayes). It has been beautifully designed being cast in the form of a female lion. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cm) long by 0.75 inches (1.9cm) wide by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and weighs 48 grams. A very well made piece.
