A very unusual American antique solid silver folding medicine spoon. It is marked STERLING along with the makers mark of Gorham. I would date it to c1900. It has been interestingly designed being able to fold into itself. It is n super condition being free from dings slits and repairs. There are initials to the larger spoon back. It measures almost 6.75 inches (17cm) long by 1.75 inch (4.4cm) wide at its widest point and weighs 44 grams. A very unusual and interesting item.
