A beautiful French solid silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with the weevil French export marks German Hanau marks along with the French weevil export mark along with the German Hanau makers mark of J.Kurz. It has been superbly made having a classical design incorporating a Lyre. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It closes tightly. It measures almost 2 inches (4.9cm) across by over 1.5 inches (3.9cm) wide by 0.5 inch (1.4cm) tall and weighs 28 grams. A very pretty piece.
