A rare English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver whistle. It is hallmarked for Chester with the date mark being rubbed and the maker being Charles Horner. It dates to c1900 (date letter rubbed). It has been stylishly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs and works well. It measures over 1.5 inches (4cm) long excluding the loop by 0.5 inch (1.2cm) wide and weighs 4 grams. A very nice quality piece.
