A superbly detailed good sized rare English solid sterling silver horse statue. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1978 with the maker being A E Jones. It has been superbly modelled in the form of horse on a green marble base. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the base is free from chips cracks and repairs. The horse measures over 6 inches (15.8cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by 4.75 inches (9.5cm) tall and weighs 934 grams. A beautiful piece.
