UNUSUAL 71g STERLING SILVER GILT CORONATION SPOONS 1936 ROYALTY ANTIQUE

£125.00
Item number: 1838L

An interesting set of English antique solid sterling silver gilt spoons. Five are hallmarked for London 1936  marker EBss the other for London 1934/5 maker R&S, all identical so I figure some production was outsourced to other manufacturers. They have been made in the form of the coronation anointing spoon most likely to mark the coronation of King George VI. They are in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 4.5 inches inches (11cm) long and combined weigh 71 grams. A very nice quality unusual set.
