A rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver boatswain's Royal Naval whistle. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1874 with the maker being George Unite & Sons. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It works well. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) wide and weighs 12 grams. A very nice quality historic military piece.
