A very high quality English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 with the maker being Asprey & Co Ltd. It has been superbly made having a trick opening mechanism, i.e you have to slide the two halves together (which works perfectly). It has been engine turned and has applied initials WJB. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide and weighs 42 grams. A very stylish piece.
