A superb solid silver Finnish bowl or dish. It is hallmarked with Finnish marks including the 830 silver standard mark a makers mark and the date code H8 for 1985, most likely a copy of a piece from c1900. It has been superbly designed being embossed with a romantic country scene to the base and cherubs to the sides. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 9 inches (23cm) across by almost 7.5 inches (18.6cm) wide by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) tall and it weighs 228 grams. A superbly made beautiful piece.
