A rare Irish Victorian antique solid sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1890 with the maker being John Smyth. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with a mermaid crest used by the Byrne family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures over 6 inches (15.5cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide and weighs 28 grams. A very nice Victorian example.
