A very unusual sterling silver mounted bowling trophy (English lawn bowls). It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 with the makers marks being JF. The ball is marked BALDWIN which I assume is a make? Both the ball and plaque (unengraved) are mounted on ebonized wood. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (9.7cms) square across the base and weighs 114 grams. A very interesting piece.
