A superb English solid sterling silver dish. It is hallmarked for London 2009 with the maker being Grant MacDonald Silversmiths (George Grant MacDonald), a highly regarded silversmith. It has been superbly designed having an cast dragon holding a shield. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10.2cm) across including the dragon and 3 inches (7.6cm) excluding it by 2 inches (5.1cm) tall and weighs 102 grams. A superb interesting piece.
