A very unusual English solid sterling novelty swan, possibly a pin cushion. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1972 with the maker being EAW. It has been beautifully cast and is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, if used as a pin cushion a cushion will need to be inserted. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by almost 2 inches (4.8cm) tall and weighs 45 grams. A very good quality piece.
