A very interesting novelty sterling silver butter spade. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1938 with the maker being R&D. It has been superbly made being in the form of a spade commemorating Port Sunlight. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs . It measures over 4.5 inches (10.9cm) long by over 1 inch (2.8cm) wide and weighs 17 grams. A very nice piece.
