A beautifully English solid sterling silver pyx or wafer box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1966 with the maker being AE Jones. It is has been superbly designed being engraved with a cross and the inside being gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 1.75 inches (4.6cm) across by 0.75 inch (1.5cm) tall and weighs 30 grams. A very nice quality piece.
