A very pretty English solid sterling silver jam / preserve or caddy spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1973 with the maker being John Pinches (Medallists) Ltd. It has been superbly made with the terminal being in the form of a song thrush bird and the bowl engraved with flowers and stars and has an applied butterfly. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 4.75 inches (12.2cm) long by almost 1.5 inches (3.6cm) wide and weighs 26 grams. A super quality example.
