ENGLISH STERLING SILVER GIANT THIMBLE 1 1/2 oz TOT SHOT CUP MEASURE 1963 BARWARE

A novelty English solid sterling silver novelty tot cup or measure. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1963 with the maker being P H Vogel & Co. It has been superbly designed being in the form of an oversized thimble bearing the words JUST A THIMBLEFUL. It has also been engraved 'MARCH 25TH 1939-1964'.  It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and usable. It measures over 2 inches (5.2cm) tall by almost 1.75 inches (4.3cm) across the rim by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across the base and weighs 42 grams. A beautifully made interesting piece.
