A rare English antique solid sterling silver blue glass lined salt cellar and spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1935 with the maker being Henry Hodson Plante. It has been superbly designed depicting St Barthlem's Gate. It is in superb condition having no dings splits or repairs. The salt cellar measures 1.5 inches (3.6cm) tall by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) wide and the spoon over 3 inches (8cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide and combined weigh 62 grams with the liner and 38 grams without. A well made set.
