A stunning English Victorian antique silver plated inkwell stand. It is marked Published by Elkington 941 and dates to c1850s. It has been beautifully made with the lid depicting possibly Boudica in a four horse drawn chariot. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions wear and repairs (just wear in the actual inkwell well section). It measures approx. 7.75 inches (19.6cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) tall and weighs 634 grams including its original glass inkwell. A very nicely designed rare piece.
