A superbly modelled decent sized sterling silver desk or table bird figure. It is hallmarked for London 1977 with the maker being S M D Castings. It has been beautifully modelled being finely cast in the form of a pheasant bird. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 5 inches (13.2cm) long beak to tail by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 2 inches (5.1cm) tall and weighs 140 grams (all silver weight, i.e. it is not filled). A very well designed high quality example.
