A superbly modelled sterling silver gilt desk or table bird figure. It is hallmarked for London 1994 with the maker marks being the Marlow Brothers. It has been beautifully modelled being finely cast in the form of a pheasant bird and gilded (gold on silver). It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.8cm) long beak to tail by 2 inches tall and weighs 65 grams (all silver weight, i.e. it is not filled). A very well designed high quality example.
