A beautiful good sized German Hanau solid silver table trinket box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the Hanau maker being JD Schleissner & Sohne and dates to c1900. It has been beautifully made with the lid being embossed with the image of a couple. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tight. It measures over 2.75 inches (7.1cm) across by over 2 inches (5.5cm) wide by over 1 inch (2.7cm) tall and weighs 62 grams. A beautiful impressive piece.
