A rare hand made English solid sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1994 with the maker being The Guild of Handicrafts. It has been superbly designed being hand plannished and to the back where the handle meets the bowl it has a cast mouse or more likely a rat (the pattern being called rat tail). It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 5.5 inches (14.2cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.6cm) wide across the bowl and weighs 52 grams. A beautifully made example.
