LARGE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER PYX PRIESTS WAFER BOX 1962 RELIGIOUS 64g

A beautifully large English solid sterling silver pyx or wafer box. It is hallmarked for London 1962 with the makers mark being AS. It is has been superbly designed being engraved with a cross and the inside being gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the lid is loose fitting so more for a table than to be carried around. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.3cm) across by over 1 inch (2.7cm) tall and weighs 64 grams. A very nice quality piece.
