A beautiful German antique solid silver Arts and Crafts bowl. It is hallmarked with the German pseudo marks and the 830 silver standard mark and the maker / retailer being D A Schmidt. It dates to c1900-1920. It has superbly made having twisted design to its base and a waved plannished bowl. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits, holes and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cms) wide by 3.75 inches tall and weighs 132 grams (total silver weight, i.e. not weighted). A very good quality beautiful piece.
