A beautiful antique sterling silver table snuff box. It is unmarked but tests as sterling silver most likely made in Scotland as a hunting trophy c1800. It has been made from half a stags hoof with a silver top engraved JG or TG. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the off tiny mark. No chips or cracks to the hoof. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.8cm) long and weighs 69 grams. A very nice quality piece.
