A rare novelty English antique solid sterling silver rimmed glass match striker. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with the maker being H&S. It has been superbly made being a more unusual champagne cork shape and is in superb condition being free from splits chips cracks and repairs. It measures almost 2.75 inches (6.7cm) tall by 2 inches wide and weighs 162 grams. A very well made example.
