A super quality Scottish Victorian solid sterling silver whisky decanter label. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh with the makers marks being JH&S - there is no date mark but JH&S is James Howden and Son who operated from 1849 until 1864. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5cm) wide by 1.5 inches in height excluding the chain and complete with its chain weighs 11 grams. A very nicely designed piece.
