A beautiful German Hanau solid sterling silver novelty box. It is hallmarked German Hanau marks and English silver import marks for Chester 1910. It has been superbly designed being in the form of an artist's palette. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, gilded inside, light scratches to the gilding. The lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.5cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.7cm) by 1cm and weighs 28 grams. A very pretty piece.
