A very rare hand made sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1932 with the makers marks being John Sidney Reeve. J S Reeve worked for the Guild of Handicrafts in its early days under Ashby before becoming a lecturer at the Leicester School of Art. It has a stunning hand plannished design and a terminal set with a green cabochon. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measure approx. 6.75 inches (17cm) long by 1.5 inches (4cm) wide and weighs 36 grams. A super quality rare example.
