A superbly detailed good sized rare English solid sterling silver horse statue. It is hallmarked with English silver marks for Birmingham 1974 the makers marks being A E jones. It has been superbly modelled in the form of horse on a green marble base. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the base is free from chips cracks and repairs. The horse measures over 6 inches (15.6cm) long by 4.5 inch (11.3cm) tall and weighs 865 grams. A beautiful piece.
