A beautiful German Hanau solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the German 800 standard mark, the German crescent moon and crown mark along with the Hanau maker B. Neresheimer & Sohne. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made being of love heart form and decorated with two couples. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repair. It measures over 1.25 inches (3.7cm) across by almost the the same front to back by over 0.25 inch (0.9cm) tall and weighs 10 grams. A very pretty piece.
