A very unusual very high quality English solid sterling silver novelty box. It is unmarked but tests as sterling silver. I would date it to c1980. It has been cast from thick gauge silver in the form of a skull and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and it closes tightly. It measures approx. 2 inches (5cm) by 1.25 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall and weighs 77 grams. A super fun piece.
