A beautiful rare Hanau German solid sterling silver novelty box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks of Friedrich Reusswig, it is also marked with the English import marks for London 1900 with the importer being Edwin Thompson Bryant. It has been superb designed being in the form of a flat iron. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean . It measures over 1.75 inches (4.8cm) long by over 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 38 grams. A very high quality rare example.
